Certification must be maintained throughout employment in position.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of one year experience as a clinical nurse.</p> </li><li> <p>Stroke education completed within one year of hire and maintain throughout employment.</p> </li><li> <p>Certification in NIHSS within 9 months of hire.</p> </li></ul> <p>Organizational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain stroke education per regulatory requriements </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Professional certification in nursing specialty. </li><li>MSN preferred. </li></ul>
