<p>General Description</p> <p>JOIN OUR TEAM AS AN INVENTORY SPECIALIST!</p> <p>This role involves responsible work in the operation of a moderate to large size warehouse.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <p>Receives and properly stores a variety of supplies, materials, and equipment. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks. Enters requisitions and receipt of supplies into a computerized inventory system. Performs daily cycle counts. Purchases, receives, secures, and issues non-stock items. Assists in quarterly and year end inventory counts. Ability to operate small to medium sized forklifts and small to large sized trucks. Performs repairs of small tools. Maintains a clean and safe storeroom and work area, including outside yard/property. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Performs related work as required.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of warehousing methods and procedures. </li><li>Knowledge of a variety of materials, supplies, and equipment. </li><li>Ability to make arithmetical calculations with speed and accuracy. </li><li>Ability to work with a large and complex computerized inventory system. </li><li>Ability to keep inventory and stock control records and to prepare reports. </li><li>Ability to operate computer terminal to maintain inventory and stock control. </li><li>Ability to operate small to medium sized forklifts and small to large sized trucks. </li><li>Ability to repair small tools, such as saws, weed eaters, pressure washers, etc. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <p>PHYSICAL SKILLS: Ability to climb, bend, stoop, walk, and squat frequently. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Ability to climb a flight of stairs. Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written and visual communication.</p> <p>EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. One (1) year of experience in warehousing which includes inventory and record keeping. Personal computer experience is required.
