<p>Summary:</p> <p>This position is located at our corporate office in Raleigh, NC, and reports to the Manager, Cash Application. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Specialist, Cash Application with the ability to thrive in our fast paced, growing organization. This individual must be able to identify and resolve problems both independently and as a part of a team. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with strong organizational and time management ability.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>To be successful, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and abilities required.</p> <ul> <li>Perform complex AR cash application research </li><li>Correct complex cash application misapplications </li><li>Knowledge of 3rd party Billing Systems that support cash receipts </li><li>Prepare reporting and any other ad-hoc analysis as requested to support cash reconciliations </li><li>Evaluate and recommend new approaches and procedures that result in process improvements and efficiencies </li><li>Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience within Accounts Receivable / Reconciliations </li><li>Undergraduate degree in accounting or equivalent work experience </li><li>Strong proficiency researching and resolving complex account reconciliations within AR </li><li>Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite with advanced PowerPoint knowledge </li><li>Knowledge of JD Edwards Accounts Receivable (or similar large ERP system) preferred </li><li>Knowledge of High Radius cloud-based solutions preferred </li><li>Self-starter who can work independently and as a part of a team with minimal supervision </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams </li></ul>
