<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>TheTransferAdmissions CounselorrepresentstheUniversity anditsimage withtheutmost integrity,responsibilityand accountability.Assistsintheimplementationofthe University's enrollment managementplanbyfostering relationships andbuildingpartnerships thatengage specific internalandexternal constituents. TheTransfer Admissions Counselor manages the transferprospectandapplicantpoolofstudents.TheTransferAdmissionsCounselordevelops andimplements strategies specific tothesuccessfulenrollmentoftransfer students bridging their academic needs withprogram offerings oftheUniversity. TheTransfer Admissions Counselor also actsastheprimary in-house counselor providing information sessionsto prospective students andfamilies. Thispositionprimarily involvestherecruitment oftransfer students.Attimes traditional student recruitment willberequired. TheTransfer Admissions Counselor reports directly totheAssistant Director of Admissions.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Requires a Bachelor's degree supplemented by one to three years of substantive experience in admissions, recruitment, public relations, marketing, sales, counseling or another relevant field. Marketing experience and the ability to implement social media campaigns is desired. Excellent interpersonal skills (written, verbal, phone) and work ethic required. Must be knowledgeable and experienced in the recruitment of student populations and related processes. Travel required; must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Candidates from diverse ethnic, cultural, and social backgrounds are encouraged to apply. may be considered.
