Job applications for current students will not be considered if submitted through the external career center.</p> <p>Position Details</p> <p>The Development and University Relations Department at The University of Tampa has an opening for an Assistant Director of Stewardship and Events Management. Reporting to the Director of Volunteer Engagement and working closely with the Senior Director of Advancement Services, the Assistant Director of Stewardship and Events Management supports the Development and University Relations team, providing specialized expertise in coordinating local meetings and events that steward existing and prospective donors and volunteers. In addition, this role is also responsible for planning revenue-generating events for the University.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the planning and logistics of donor receptions, luncheons, and galas including UTampa's signature stewardship event, Minaret Society Dinner. </li><li>Coordinating logistics for fundraising events including Top Shot, Sykes Hall of Fame Business Speaker series, and Minarets at Sunset, ensuring that each event meets both its mission and fundraising goals; and other events as designed. </li><li>Create, manage and track event registration using Raiser's Edge event module. </li><li>Participate with day to day logistics and events for affiliated entities of the University of Tampa. Preparing event collateral, maintaining event webpages, managing event logistics, working with volunteer committees, internal and external stakeholders and post-event evaluations. </li><li>Maintaining files for each event with comprehensive planning details.
