<p>Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description</p> <p>As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and launching innovative mobile equipment used in real-world, demanding environments. You will lead complex engineering projects from concept through production, collaborating across engineering, operations, service, and marketing, and have a direct impact on product performance, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for an experienced electrical engineer who enjoys hands-on problem solving, ownership of designs, and seeing their work move from idea to the field.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead electrical design and development for new products aligned with the company's product roadmap. </li><li>Define product requirements using Voice of Customer (VOC) input, regulatory standards, and technical specifications. </li><li>Create detailed electrical specifications, schematics, and harness designs. </li><li>Perform product testing to validate designs and ensure performance meets intent. </li><li>Partner with operations and suppliers to improve manufacturability, cost, quality, and delivery. </li><li>Work with service teams to resolve high-priority product issues and support field diagnostics. </li><li>Travel to customer sites as needed to support on-site troubleshooting. </li><li>Support product launches, tradeshows, training, and customer demonstrations. </li><li>Champion engineering and ISO processes while continuously improving design methods. </li><li>Contribute to sustaining engineering efforts to reduce defects, warranty risk, and rework. </li><li>Design innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable electrical systems. </li><li>Travel up to 20%, primarily domestic, during product introduction phases. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency with PLC Programming. Experience with CodeSys is preferred, but knowledge of Siemens or similar is acceptable. </li><li>Experience using CAD software such as Solidworks, Solidworks Electrical, and AutoCAD. </li><li>Familiarity with ERP and/or MRP system. </li><li>Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field required. </li><li>A minimum of seven (7) years engineering experience in a manufacturing setting. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of harness design, electrical schematics design, and DC circuit and troubleshooting. </li><li>12 and 24 VDC circuit analysis (low/medium voltage AC system power distribution, circuit, and controls understanding). </li><li>Background in engine diagnostics as well as general knowledge in drivetrain, driveline, and diesel engines. </li><li>Experience working with mobile equipment, specifically in construction or agricultural equipment industries. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is based on-site in Fond du Lac.
