<p>Overview We are hiring a Paramedic for our outpatient imaging center. Candidates must have an active ACLS certification and should be familiar with responding to emergency situations involving IVs and contrast reactions related to imaging procedures. Experience in a clinical or radiology setting is a plus. Location: Florence, SC Shift: FT 32hrs-40hrs/wk. This role can be PT or FT. Responsibilities Screen patients prior to exam Assist the patient in completing electronic paperwork Obtain medical history from the patient Escort the patient to the changing room and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the exam Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam room Assist the technologist in preparing the MRI table (coil selection, changing linen, etc.) Start and remove IVs Maintain linen inventory Research availability and obtain reports and images requested by Radiologist Serve as liaison between the technologist and Radiologist Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED required Phlebotomy certification, Certified Medical Assistant certification through AAMA or NHA, Registered Medical Assistant certification through AMT or ARMA, or ARRT registered in (R), (MR), (CT), or (M) required CPR certification required Prior Experience: Minimum of 0 - 2 years of experience Company Message About MedQuest Imaging Founded in 1996, MedQuest is one of the most experienced outpatient imaging providers in the United States.
