<p>Description</p> <p>The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <ul> <li>The Landscape Laborer assists with landscape installation and maintenance tasks, including planting, soil preparation, sod and seed application, and material handling, to ensure safe and efficient operations. </li></ul> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Excavate manually with a shovel </li><li>Handle & install trees & shrubs </li><li>Handle fertilizers & soil enrichment materials </li><li>Move & spread soil and aggregates </li><li>Install seed & sod </li><li>Hand tool use, including wheelbarrow </li><li>Load & unload materials </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to follow supervisor instructions </li><li>Knowledge of safe working practices </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands/Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to load/unload trailers (up to 50 lbs.) </li><li>Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day </li><li>Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required) </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit </li><li>Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time </li><li>Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic </li><li>Work near or about natural bodies of water </li></ul> <p>BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.</p> <p>This job description is subject to change at any time.</p> <p>BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
