<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>The purpose of this position is to provide instruction for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Provides teaching and guidance to students taking ACLS and/or PALS courses. </li><li>Ensures classroom and supplies are prepared for class. </li><li>Follows teaching criteria outlined by the American Heart Association (AHA). </li><li>Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Certified ACLS and or PALS provider. </li><li>Current ACLS or PALS Instructor certifications or the ability to obtain with in 3 months of hire. </li><li>Ability to teach at a minimum of 1 class per month. </li><li>Ability to attend an annual, mandatory skills training/maintenance and sign-off session. </li><li>Ability to work evenings and weekends. </li><li>Previous teaching/training experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion</p> <p>Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
