<p>Position Overview:</p> <p>We are seeking a strategic and experienced Talent Acquisition professional (contract) to lead and elevate our hiring practices at Bicara. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this individual will own executive-level recruitment and implement scalable talent acquisition strategies to support our evolving organizational needs. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, hands-on approach to building foundational processes in areas such as DEI, compliance, interview training, vendor partnerships, and workforce planning. This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension based on business needs and performance.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Own and lead full-cycle recruitment for executive-level roles (VP and above) </li><li>Develop and implement scalable, compliant talent acquisition processes </li><li>Partner with leaders to forecast hiring needs and workforce plans </li><li>Design and deliver interview training and other relevant hiring manager development programs </li><li>Evaluate, select, implement and manage recruiting technology and systems </li><li>Develop and foster relationships with external vendors that add value to our overall Talent Acquisition practices </li><li>Serve as a thought partner on employer branding and candidate experience strategy </li><li>Use data and insights to influence and optimize hiring outcomes </li><li>Lead diversity hiring strategies and DEI recruitment initiatives </li><li>Manage and mentor additional members of the Talent Acquisition team </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including 3+ years recruiting at the executive level </li><li>Experience in a high-growth biotech/life sciences environment required </li><li>Proven experience developing scalable TA processes and driving strategic initiatives </li><li>Strong understanding of compliance requirements and DEI best practices </li><li>Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills </li><li>Hands-on, proactive, and highly collaborative approach </li></ul> <p>Company Overview</p> <p>Bicara Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company committed to bringing transformative bifunctional therapies to patients with solid tumors.
