<p>Hours for this role: Monday - Friday, 6:00 pm - 3:00 am</p> <p>Fulfills a critical leadership role in support of the Warehouse, Fabrication, and Shipping/Transportation Departments. The AWM role is highly visible and therefore is critical to set the standard and model the expectation for associate behavior.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title:</p> <ul> <li>Train new hires </li><li>Retrain current associates, coach and develop </li><li>Develop and deliver personal improvement plans for team members, as necessary </li><li>Lead projects in new warehouse technology </li><li>Cover for Supervisors, as necessary </li><li>Cover for scheduled absences of the Warehouse Manager </li><li>Identify quality, housekeeping and safety concerns and report them to the Warehouse Manager </li><li>Ensure machines are operating properly and safely </li><li>Complying with and upholding all EMS policies </li><li>Communicate and collaborate with Supervisors to identify areas needing improvement </li><li>Evaluate processes and provide recommendations for improvement </li><li>Employ a positive attitude and serve as a role model for employees </li><li>Comply with Company and OSHA policies; participate in safety and accident preventative meetings </li><li>Wear safety equipment at all times and MUST wear hardhat at all times during work hours in the warehouse </li><li>Assist with scheduling and assignments for team members </li><li>Drive productivity in all aspects of the operation </li><li>Must be flexible with schedule and hours </li></ul> <p>Experience/Skills/Abilities Required</p> <ul> <li>Excellent organizational and planning skills </li><li>Computer and internet research skills </li><li>Ability to prepare and adhere to a budget </li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Extremely resourceful and ability to show initiative; use internal resources to achieve desired results </li><li>Able to work independently </li><li>Able to exercise effective judgement, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations </li><li>Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work </li><li>Good professional appearance </li><li>Must be flexible with schedule and hours </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>5 or more years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments, with a strong track record of managing teams, optimizing operations, and ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. </li><li>Possess expert knowledge of all processes associated with receiving, inventory control, and shipping </li><li>Lift and carry heavy material up to 50 lbs.; climb on and off a flatbed trailer </li></ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and has equal access to opportunities.</p> <p>We are a Drug Free Workplace</p>
