<p>Entry-Level Family Law Paralegal</p> <p>Chicago, IL | Hybrid</p> <p>Direct-Hire | Partnered with LHH</p> <p>LHH is partnering with a well-established Chicago law firm to add an Entry-Level Family Law Paralegal to its growing practice. This is a newly created role as part of a strategic headcount expansion-not a replacement position.</p> <p>This opportunity is ideal for a paralegal with foundational family law experience who enjoys working with financial documentation and analysis and is seeking long-term stability within a sophisticated family law practice.</p> <p>The Opportunity</p> <p>You'll support attorneys on complex family law matters with a strong focus on financial discovery and financial analysis. While exposure to higher-net-worth divorces is a plus, it is not required. The firm is open to continued training and development for someone who brings the right fundamentals and mindset.</p> <p>This is a true paralegal role-not a hybrid administrative position-with billable work and reasonable expectations.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist with financial discovery, including organizing, reviewing, and analyzing financial records</p> </li><li> <p>Review income, assets, liabilities, and expense documentation</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare financial schedules, summaries, and exhibits</p> </li><li> <p>Support attorneys on financial aspects of divorce and family law matters</p> </li><li> <p>Track deadlines and support cases from start through resolution</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with clients and third parties as appropriate</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years of family law paralegal experience required</p> </li><li> <p>Comfort working with numbers, spreadsheets, and financial documentation</p> </li><li> <p>High-net-worth family law exposure a plus, but not required</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent organizational and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Interest in long-term stability and professional growth</p> </li><li> <p>Preference for fewer years of experience to balance a senior-heavy paralegal team</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits</p> <ul> <li> <p>Salary range: $70,000-$90,000, depending on experience and qualifications</p> </li><li> <p>Benefits package, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Medical, dental, and vision coverage</p> </li><li> <p>Paid time off and firm-recognized holidays</p> </li><li> <p>401(k) and additional long-term benefits</p> </li></ul> <p>Why This Role?</p> <ul> <li> <p>Newly created position due to growth</p> </li><li> <p>Clear separation from administrative work</p> </li><li> <p>Hands-on exposure to the financial side of family law</p> </li><li> <p>Supportive environment with realistic billable expectations</p> </li><li> <p>Strong emphasis on retention and long-term fit</p> </li></ul> <p>Interested in learning more?</p> <p>Apply directly or contact Katie Soderberg at LHH for a confidential conversation.
