<p>Position Title: Grill Bartender</p> <p>Position Reports to: Beverage Manager and Dining Operations Manager</p> <p>Employee and FLSA: Full Time Year-Round/Benefit Eligible; Hourly Position, Non-exempt</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Intermediate knowledge of all wine, beer, cocktail and non-alcoholic beverage offerings </li><li>Demonstrated ability of cocktail preparation methods and styles (i.e. straight up, shaken, stirred, neat, etc) </li><li>Knowledge of seasonal specialty cocktails and wine by the glass menu </li><li>Understanding of appropriate glassware required per beverage type </li><li>Prepare beverages in a timely manner as ordered </li><li>Assist with additional beverage services during service (i.e. water, cocktail, coffee) </li><li>Set-up and break down of bar, glassware, and equipment in scheduled space </li><li>Stock liquor, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages; restock as necessary </li><li>Daily sales entry in point-of-sale system and accurate reporting of inventory consumption </li><li>Monitoring equipment in bar; coolers, glass machine, soda dispensing machine </li><li>Ability to present and pour a bottle of wine or champagne </li><li>Complete side-work and prep as needed (i.e. cutting citrus, polishing glassware, preparing mixers, etc) </li><li>Complete close-out duties and check out with manager prior to departing </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of all F&B storage areas </li><li>Assist other bartenders with service and assigned tasks </li><li>Communicate courteously and politely with members and guests and address by name </li><li>Ability to work with all staff cohesively and follow directions from manager </li><li>Maintaining logs to track daily protocols for sanitation </li><li>Additional duties/ projects as assigned by management </li></ul> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Intermediate Food and Beverage knowledge </li><li>Ability to work well in a team environment </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, and perform the essential functions of the job </li><li>Basic reading and writing skills </li><li>Ability to speak English conversationally </li><li>Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays as scheduled </li></ul> <p>Specialized Knowledge/Licenses Required:</p> <ul> <li>TIPS certification </li></ul> <p>Uniform Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>White, clean, pressed, dress shirt (provided on first day) </li><li>Black slacks/pants (no denim, yoga pants, or casual materials) </li><li>If the slacks are tailored with a belt loop, please wear a black belt with simple buckle </li><li>Black Bow Tie (if needed, provided by TCC) </li><li>Black socks or stockings that go above the ankle </li><li>Black unadorned, clean/polished, comfortable work shoes </li><li>Black vest and/or jacket (if needed, provided by TCC) </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able bend and reach for items off shelf, carry trays, and able to lift up to 40 lbs. </li><li>Must be able to stand for 8 to 10 hours </li><li>Use touch screen for POS system </li></ul> <p>Opportunities exist for internal advancement.</p>
