At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.</p> <p>We are presently seeking a Production Planner Supervisor who will supervise and coordinate production planning activities for optical components and systems.</p> <p>Main Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and lead the production planning team for optical manufacturing operations (e.g., lenses, mirrors, coatings, assemblies) </li><li>Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and capacity constraints </li><li>Coordinate material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure availability of raw materials and components </li><li>Monitor production progress and adjust plans to address delays, equipment issues, or supply disruptions </li><li>Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with optical specifications and tolerances </li><li>Optimize workflow, capacity utilization, and throughput in high-precision manufacturing processes </li><li>Analyze production data and KPIs (on-time delivery, cycle time, yield, WIP levels) to identify improvement opportunities </li><li>Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance efficiency and reduce waste </li><li>Communicate production status, risks, and mitigation plans to management and stakeholders </li><li>Train, mentor, and evaluate planning team members </li><li>Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience) </li><li>3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations </li><li>At least 1-2 years of direct supervisory or team leadership experience </li><li>Experience working in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, SAP a plus </li><li>Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data tools </li></ul> <p>Benefits start day 1: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Holiday Pay, PAID Maternity/Paternity leave, Tuition Reimbursement, Long-term and Short-term disability.</p> <p>Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.</p> <p>#LI-FM1 #LI-Onsite</p> <p>#LI-FM1 #LI-Onsitensite</p> <p>This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)</p> <p>Visa sponsorship is not available for any position at Excelitas</p> <p>Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer</p> <p>Minorities/Females/Disability/Veteran/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation</p> <p>Excelitas is seeking leaders and innovators to join our global team!</p> <p>Visit: https://jobs.excelitas.com/</p>
