<p>We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory Services Team.</p> <p>Under the supervision of the Phlebotomy Team Lead, you will be a key ambassador for our department, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.</p> <ul> <li>Position: Full Time, Non- Certified Phlebotomist </li><li>Department: Outpatient Lab </li><li>Hours: Day shift; 5:45 am - 6:30 pm, start times may vary on department needs. May cover inpatient as needed. </li><li>Rotations: ARMC Outpatient and Cancer Center draw site </li><li>On-Call/Holiday Coverage: Inpatient (1-2x/month); Inpatient holiday (4th of July/Christmas) </li><li>Location: 272 Hospital Rd - Chillicothe, Ohio 45601 </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance </li><li>STD, LTD, and Basic Life insurance paid for by employer </li><li>403 defined contribution retirement plan with employer match </li><li>As a non-profit employer, our caregivers are eligible to participate with the PSLF (Public Student Loan Forgiveness) </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform venipuncture and collect various specimen types. </li><li>Correctly identify patients and label/process specimens. </li><li>Enter and process lab orders in the LIS system. </li><li>Provide clear instructions for urine, drug screen, and other patient-collected specimens. </li><li>Deliver/send specimens and support general lab workflow. </li><li>Offer excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff. </li><li>Handle basic clerical tasks and maintain clean, stocked work areas. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED. </li><li>Accredited Phlebotomy course completion preferred. </li><li>CPR certification (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and/or EKG training, as applicable. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent customer relations.
