classes.</p> </li></ul> <p>Come join our community and be part of a unique, dynamic team committed to holistic excellence in urban education!</p> <p>Primary responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Deliver individual counseling and group services to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral health and wellbeing.</p> </li><li> <p>Implement developmentally appropriate and prevention orientated group activities to meet student needs and school goals (e.g., developing healthy peer relationships, bullying prevention, executive functioning skills, conflict resolution, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Provide pushin therapeutic and behavior management / self-regulation supports to students directly in the classroom.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide crisis support in collaboration with other administrators and school staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide ongoing consultation to students, teachers, parents, and administration with respect to learning differences, social-emotional development, emotional literacy, behavioral functioning, and conflict resolution.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) and other socialemotional and behavioral assessments and observations with the collaboration of other team members, as appropriate</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with Student Support Team (SST) and IEP processes in order to help teachers and staff develop and implement differentiated instruction and classroom management practices that meet individual student needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Write SMART goals for service that effectively address the needs of students and monitor progress towards those goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Implement and maintain an inclusive model of service delivery through cooperation, collaboration, and partnerships with school administrators, teachers, parents, and students.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate a wrap-around system of care (i.e., manage student referrals to outside agencies, support parents to obtain these services and evaluations, collaborate with outside specialists, advocate for children and families, etc.) that integrates school, family, and community agencies, and provide a strengths based approach to ensure the learning and growth of all students.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in, coordinate, and conduct activities that contribute to the effective operation of a universal system of social-emotional and behavioral supports for the school community (e.g., professional development, workshops, parent education, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with school leaders on issues related to school climate and program and staff development to contribute to an environment where the needs of all members of the school community are met.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides feedback and recommends appropriate action and solutions to individual student's academic and educational needs and abilities.</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Create, monitor, and update student counseling and special education records as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with supervision of recess, lunch, or classrooms as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend faculty meetings, curriculum meetings, Open Houses, or other school events in the evening or on weekends such as concerts, meetings, etc.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Understanding of K1-2nd grade age-span development</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of trauma-informed approach</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability and interest in establishing an open rapport with all school faculty, students, and families</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with student support and/or special education teams</p> </li><li> <p>Licensure track, or current license for either LMHC, LCSW, or LICSW</p> </li><li> <p>Licensure eligibility for School Adjustment Counselor</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of 2 years experience as an elementary school counselor</p> </li><li> <p>Experience counseling urban youth</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Documentation Upload:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Resume: Please submit an updated copy of your resume,
