(SFI) products are Safe, Quality and Legal. \nKeeps accurate and legible records.\nEnsures high quality by evaluating materials and products against specifications. \nMakes risk-based decisions involving product status, placing materials on hold, and assisting in non-conformance process.\nPerforms testing, equipment maintenance, and calibrations according to accredited methods and standard operating procedures. \nAccurately performs laboratory testing as determined by SFI's FSQ plan.\nPerforms audits of facilities and employee practices as assigned by supervisor. \nIssues Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and verifies effectiveness of Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action.\nAssists in second- and third-party audits at discretion of Sr. Manager. \nApplies knowledge of customer expectations, regulatory requirements, Food Safety / Quality standards and serves as a technical resource to Manufacturing, Sales, R&D, Customer Service, and Logistics (g., assists with decision-making, assessing risk, troubleshooting, problem solving, minor formula modifications, etc.). \nMay be assigned as the lead of specific programs (g., monitoring pest control activities, monitoring sanitation activities, environmental monitoring, grading tables, etc.).\nManages projects as assigned with minimal supervision, which may include scheduling, planning, and facilitating meetings, and presenting findings at department meetings. \nProvides Quality/Food Safety support on continuous improvement projects.\nAssists with product retrievals/recall and traceability exercises as scheduled to verify traceability effectiveness.\nUnder supervision of the Preventative Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI), reviews production paperwork to verify production operating limits, preventative controls, and critical control points within limits. Keeps accurate and legible records.\nApplies quality tools and approaches (g., root cause analysis, pareto charting, process mapping, cause and effect diagramming, etc.). \nCollects and evaluates data and writes reports to document deviations from existing programs.\nUnderstands tracking, trending, and data analysis tools.\nAssists with Quality Concern process through investigation, root cause analysis, research, analysis, and executing workflows.\nAssists in writing, communication and training of Quality and Food Safety Systems Programs and standard operating procedures.\nPrioritizes work to meet the needs of internal/external customers.\n\n \nYour Education and Experience.\n\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED/HSED) required with 1-3 years of manufacturing or quality related experience.
