<p>Description</p> <p>The Family Governance Strategist is a member of the Wealth Strategy team who assists Huntington's most complex clients to navigate the challenging elements of family dynamics. Specifically, this individual will help affluent families create and implement structures, policies, and communication channels for shared wealth. The Strategist will work in concert with primary relationship managers to help facilitate family meetings, develop common mission statements, and provide next-gen education on topics that the families prioritize. In addition, the position will assist in developing original, thought-leadership for broad use by primary relationship managers, and participate in the Wealth brand building effort through professional presentations and media efforts.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Framework Design: Design and establish a family governance framework within the Family Wealth offering, which may include a product offering and delivery design.</p> <p>Meeting Facilitation: Plan and moderate family meetings or retreats, in concert with the primary relationship manager, as a neutral third party to ensure structured, productive conversations and decision-making on shared goals and values.</p> <p>Succession Planning: Guide the family through the leadership and ownership transition process, ensuring a smooth and deliberate changeover across generations.</p> <p>Education and Mentorship: Develop and deliver educational programs to prepare the next generation with knowledge of finance, investing, philanthropy, and leadership skills for their future roles.</p> <p>Conflict Resolution: Implement mechanisms and serve as a neutral party to address and resolve family conflicts or disputes constructively, preserving family harmony.</p> <p>Coordination with Advisors: Coordinate and align the work of existing planning team members, and external advisors, such as lawyers, accountants, and investment managers, to ensure a cohesive and integrated strategy.</p> <p>Philanthropy Management: Help the family define its philanthropic mission and develop a comprehensive strategy, aligning tax-beneficial charitable activities with the family's values.</p> <p>Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)</p> <p>Yes</p> <p>Workplace Type:</p> <p>Office</p> <p>Our Approach to Office Workplace Type</p> <p>Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. Specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.</p> <p>Compensation Range:</p> <p>$93,000 - $189,000</p> <p>The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position.
