<p>LEOMINSTER PUBLIC SCHOOLS</p> <p>LEOMINSTER HIGH SCHOOL</p> <p>INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY</p> <p>AP Summer Institute Teachers</p> <p>LHS is offering one-week review and preparation courses for students going into AP courses. The intent is to prepare students for the rigors of AP-level work and help them be successful in those courses.</p> <p>Weeks of possibilities are the following:</p> <p>July 7th - 10th, July 14th - 17th, July 21st - July 24th, July 28th - July 31st.</p> <p>(Monday - Thursday - 8am - 12pm)</p> <p>Up to 8 Teachers are sought for the review session for the following courses:</p> <ul> <li>AP Calculus </li><li>AP Biology </li><li>AP Chemistry </li><li>AP Language and Composition/Literature and Composition </li><li>AP Physics </li><li>AP Psychology </li><li>AP World History </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide refresher instruction in prerequisite content. </li><li>Review content for the AP course, to include practice assignments and assessments to prepare for the course </li><li>Provide strategies for success in AP courses. </li><li>Preference will be given to LHS teachers currently assigned to teach the course. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Hold current DESE licensure in the subject area </li><li>Familiarity with subject </li><li>AP instruction experience preferred, AP Institute attendance preferred. </li></ul> <p>Funding: Local funding</p>
