Communicates location and supply level suggestions, changes, and problems to Case Cart Manager or Supervisor regularly. Participates in the reduction of expiring supplies and implants through proper rotation. Maintains tissue tracking of bone and tissue products in the Track Core system. Conducts year-end inventory counts for all Surgical Department supply locations. Ensures frozen implants are handled according to IFU recommendations for patient safety. Supports specialty-specific service lines by knowing clinical products and providing sub options to OR staff and Surgeons. Communicates back orders with OR staff and Surgeons and handles all FedEx deliveries and transfers. Assists with receiving and restocking incoming supplies and ensures items are stored in the proper unit of issue in assigned locations for all areas under the Surgical Services umbrella. Performs other duties as assigned. Scans and fills inventory for all Surgical Services Department locations.
