<p>The Technology Support Tech III is a team member of the Information Technology department, participating in the day-to-day operations of the office. The Technology Support Tech III, oversees and performs general maintenance tasks, troubleshoots and repairs hardware and peripheral equipment located throughout the organization. This individual must be capable of making decisions regarding the urgency and or seriousness of calls, oversee all I.T. department projects, and serve as an escalation point for the technical staff of the department. Depending on operations, business or project needs, the Technology Support Tech III may be asked to perform duties outside what is defined in the job description on a temporary basis.</p> <p>Education: High School Diploma or GED</p> <p>Experience: Five years of related experience. Oversee imaging and maintaining stock of hardware for deployment by technicians as and when needed. Oversee the installation and configuration of hardware, peripherals, and software within established standards and guidelines. Assist management to ensure software in the environment maintains an N-1 status. Maintain relevant documentation for any identified exceptions. Build software deployments, application packages, or scripts as needed. Create required RFC's and properly schedule updates and software deployments. Maintains quality assurance lab to validate that all equipment and configurations are tested before deployment.</p> <p>Support: Identify issues with hardware, peripherals, software, etc. and coordinate remediation. Oversee upgrade of hardware in the environment to current versioning levels to maintain compliance. Assist with creation of process and schedule. Assist teammates and serve as SME on all support technologies. Oversee the team spare parts inventory of systems and subsystems, and component parts used in repair work. Serve as lead for all system projects including refresh, new construction, deployments, etc. Work with I.T. Project Manager to determine all hardware software requirements. Assist in the development of all project budget and deployment timelines. The Technology Support Tech III will follow all Security protocols and participate in Security events as assigned. They may also be asked to participate in cross-functional teams in resolution of an incident. Follow up with team and inpatient staff to ensure rounding issue remediation is complete and to ensure customer satisfaction. Assist with remediation of any issues discovered if required.</p> <p>Documentation: Assist in documenting hardware and other related installation and maintenance processes.</p> <p>SLA: Update and close trouble tickets in accordance with set system SLA timeframes. Maintain expected closure and breach rates as set by department expectation. Consistently maintain performance level within top 50% of team metrics.</p> <p>Competencies: Meets all competencies in assigned competency checklist(s).</p> <p>Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program.
