Operates warehouse equipment to build and send appropriate orders. Verifies and keeps records of incoming finished goods and/or raw materials and outgoing shipments of finished goods and prepares items for shipment. Operates various powered industrial lift trucks (Standup, Sitdown, and Turret).</p> <p>Summary of essential job functions</p> <ul> <li>Detects and reports damaged loads, leaking materials, and other unsafe conditions or situations to Supervisor. </li><li>Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. </li><li>Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage, from storage or production areas to shipping areas, shrink wrap machine or to other designated areas. </li><li>Sorts and places raw materials or finished goods to designated locations. </li><li>Fills requisitions or assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to small parcel packing station or shipping dock. </li><li>Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. </li><li>Uses appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for work area and maintains a clean safe condition. </li><li>Performs all functions necessary for shipping and receiving, including maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies. </li><li>Operates RF scanners in order to accurately fill orders and effectively manage inventory. </li><li>Carries out loading and unloading of material orders and shipments onto carriers. </li><li>Additional duties that may be assigned by manager. </li></ul> <p>Minimum requirements</p> <ul> <li>2 years' experience preferred. </li><li>Must be able to calculate/estimate weight of load and its effect on lift truck lifting capacity. </li><li>Must follow written regulations and procedures and written and oral instructions. </li><li>Must use good judgement in moving load/lift truck. </li><li>Be certified to operate forklift. </li><li>Able to repetitively lift +50lbs. </li></ul> <p>Abilities required</p> <ul> <li>Walking; standing; climbing; balancing crouching; reaching; good hand/eye coordination; must be able to see, hear, and talk. </li></ul>
