<p>Position Summary: The O&M Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and instrument components, using test equipment to locate and correct the problems. The floater technician must be able to travel regionally - up to 75%.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct routine maintenance on various operating CNG compressor equipment, including, but not limited to, compressors, dryers, pumps, valves, meters, rotating equipment, and various other equipment. </li><li>Visually inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. </li><li>Diagnose and test electrical systems for continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as digital volt/ohm meters. </li><li>Perform daily walk around inspections to identify any potential risks or fatigue of equipment. </li><li>Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and instrument components, utilizing equipment manuals, test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a failure and make necessary repairs. </li><li>Ensures that all station equipment, including safety devices, are functioning properly, and reports any equipment failures to supervisor. </li><li>Document service actions daily by completing forms, reports, and logs. </li><li>Ensures good housekeeping practices of all equipment, tools, work areas and fueling station. </li><li>Service existing accounts by routinely calling on customers, receiving calls from customers, and routine site visits. </li><li>Ensures that all vendors accessing fueling stations follow all company policies and procedures. </li><li>24 Hour on-call status required. </li></ul> <p>Respond to emergency calls and preventative maintenance calls in an organized manner.</p> <p>Responsible for booking all travel and tracking all expenses.</p> <p>Qualifications & Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Three to five years of industrial maintenance experience, troubleshooting, and repairing automated equipment. </li><li>HS diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Course work or certification in electronic technology is preferred. </li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills, for reporting purposes; attention to detail. </li><li>Must be able to lift 60 lbs. </li><li>Computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office; schematics. </li><li>Wide range construction technology knowledge, and materials preferred. </li><li>Must be able to travel to other regional locations (75% travel). </li><li>Must have a current and valid driver's license, without any restrictions. </li></ul> <p>Work Hours:</p> <ul> <li>Standard Monday - Friday; 1st shift (40-hours); hours may fluctuate, based upon customer demand. </li><li>24/7 on-call required. </li></ul> <p>Salary: $32 - $38/hourly</p> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
