<p>Location: Oak Ridge, TN</p> <p>Job Title: Contractor Assurance Professional</p> <p>Career Level From: Senior Associate</p> <p>Career Level To: Senior Specialist</p> <p>Job Specialty: Quality Assurance</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>This position is responsible for providing technical and administrative support for Contractor Assurance Elements including but not limited to, Issues Management Program, Lessons Learned, Management Assessments, Metrics,Performance Indicators, Trending, Worker Feedback and Improvement (People Based Quality). Principle responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Developing and maintaining necessary programmatic elements to support contractor assurance programs, i.e., procedures, charters, desktop instructions, plans, etc. </li><li>Coordinating and communicating with functional points of contact to implement and facilitate work executionthroughout the project. </li><li>Benchmarking applicable programs to implement best practice. </li><li>Preparation and participating in briefings, presentations and meetings. </li></ul> <p>What You Can Expect</p> <ul> <li>Meaningful work and unique opportunities to support missions vital to national and global security </li><li>Top-notch, dedicated colleagues </li><li>Generous pay and benefits with a stable organization </li><li>Career advancement and professional development programs </li><li>Work-life balance fostered through flexible work options and wellness initiatives </li></ul> <p>Minimum Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. </li><li>OR Master's degree: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. </li><li>OR Ten or more years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive experience may be considered tosatisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor degree from an accredited university and 2 years of experience working on or supporting theUranium Processing Facility Project or similar Department of Energy site. </li><li>Beginning to intermediate knowledge and application of 10 CFR 830 Subpart A, DOE Order 414.1D, national consensus standard ASME NQA-1-2008/ASME NQA-1a-2009 Addenda to ASME NQA-1 - 2008, and U.S. </li></ul> <p>Nuclear Regulatory Commission Regulatory Guide Series or quality assurance work experience germane to high value, safety significant construction/start-up projects.</p> <ul> <li>Beginning to intermediate knowledge/skills in analyzing information; reporting research results; promoting process improvement and a quality culture; managing processes, methods and procedures; quality engineering; conducting statistical analysis and applying statistical analysis methods; critical thinking and problem solving techniques. </li><li>Experience utilizing the UPF business system applications (e.g., Microsoft package, ActionWay, InfoWorks). </li><li>Beginning to intermediate knowledge of requirements and program implementation practices for one ormore contractor assurance elements. </li><li>Experience in the development, preparation, review and approval of quality assurance procedures, guides, plans, schedules, etc. </li><li>Experience in training and making presentations. </li><li>Six sigma training and/or certification. </li><li>NQA-1 Lead Auditor Qualification. </li></ul> <p>Why Y-12?</p> <p>You get #morethanajob. Part 712), which requires successful competition of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.</p> <p>This position may be categorized as a "designated position" identified by 10 C.F.R. Part 709, requiring successful completion of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation that may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.</p> <p>CNS is a drug-free workplace.
