<p>Join the Gaco team, a trusted name in building envelope solutions with a heritage dating back to 1955.</p> <p>We're seeking a Industrial Electrician who's ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.</p> <p>1st and 2nd shift</p> <p>ABOUT THE ROLE</p> <p>We are seeking a skilled and safety-biased Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in chemical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical systems, including high-voltage distribution and industrial control systems. This role is critical to support aggressive growth and ensuring the continuous and safe operation of our machinery and facility infrastructure. The position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, ability to work independently, and as a part of a team. Schedule: 6 am - 2:30 pm - 3 pm -11:30 pm Mon - Fri Hourly pay $43.00</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH</p> <ul> <li>Perform preventive electrical maintenance on all equipment to minimize downtime andensure optimal performance. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and electronic systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor control centers (MCCs), and instrumentation. </li><li>Read, interpret, and use complex industrial electrical schematics, blueprints, technical diagrams, and equipment manuals. </li><li>Ensure all work is performed in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Wisconsin electrical codes. </li><li>Work with a variety of specialized tools and diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters, meggers, and oscilloscopes, to diagnose and repair electrical faults. </li><li>Install and maintain conduit, wiring, and electrical apparatus in a heavy industrial environment. </li><li>Collaborate with engineers, maintenance team, contractors, and production staff to identify and resolve electrical issues and support plant modifications or upgrades. </li></ul> <p>WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR</p> <ul> <li>Must hold a valid Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License (Class B) or Master Electrician License (Class A). </li><li>Proven experience as an electrician in industrial setting, such as a chemical plant, power plant, or wastewater treatment facility. </li><li>Strong understanding of industrial control systems, instrumentation, motor control, and power distribution. </li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and blueprints. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of NFPA 70E guidelines for working on and around energized equipment. </li><li>Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including confined spaces and at heights. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. </li><li>Willingness to work on evening shift, frequent weekends, and/or on-call basis for emergency repairs, as needed. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <p>Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
