<p>Murrey's Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is hiring a Local CDL Driver who is ready to take on one of the most physically demanding and essential jobs in our community. This is not a desk job - it's hard work, outdoors, on your feet, and behind the wheel of a powerful machine. If you take pride in doing tough work that matters, we want you on our team.</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays</p> <p>Pay Range: $35.00-$35.50/hour</p> <p>What You'll Be Doing</p> <ul> <li>Operate a Class B garbage truck safely and efficiently on assigned routes. </li><li>Manually load and unload waste and recyclables - lifting, pushing, and pulling objects over 100 pounds throughout the day. </li><li>Navigate tight streets, alleys, and industrial zones in all weather conditions. </li><li>Use hydraulic controls to lift and empty containers at disposal sites. </li><li>Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance. </li><li>Interact professionally with customers while working independently and staying on schedule. </li></ul> <p>What It's Like on the Job</p> <ul> <li>Physically intense: You'll be climbing in and out of the truck, handling heavy materials, and working on your feet for hours. </li><li>Outdoor exposure: Rain, heat, cold - you'll be out in it all, doing real work that keeps the community clean. </li><li>Fast-paced and gritty: This is a job for someone who doesn't mind getting dirty and thrives in a high-output environment. </li><li>Safety-first culture: You'll be trained and expected to follow strict safety protocols every step of the way. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (Class A not required). </li><li>Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience. </li><li>Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred. </li><li>Basic mechanical knowledge for truck inspections. </li><li>Must be able to lift, push, and pull objects over 100 pounds consistently. </li><li>SAFETY SENSITIVE: YES </li></ul> <p>Why Work at Murrey's Disposal?</p> <p>We're part of the Waste Connections family - a company that values hard work, safety, and community service.
