<p>Atrium is partnering with an accounting firm based in Orlando, FL, providing accounting, tax, and consulting services. They are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their company.</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$45k</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Bookkeeper will manage our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. They will also be responsible for ensuring that our financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported, maintaining our company's financial health.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:</p> <ul> <li>Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. </li><li>Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, supplier ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger. </li><li>Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll promptly. </li><li>Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account. </li><li>Monitor office expenses and enter cash receipts. </li><li>Maintain an orderly accounting filing system. </li><li>Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. </li><li>Assist with sales tax. </li><li>Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Bookkeeper:</p> <ul> <li>Must live in the Orlando metro area. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience. </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of QuickBooks Online experience. </li><li>Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. </li><li>Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software. </li><li>Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li>High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience/Skills for the Bookkeeper:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with tax software. </li><li>Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Health, dental, and vision insurance. </li><li>Paid time off and holidays. </li></ul>
