Responsible for preparing job cost estimates, negotiating purchases and contracts, establishing construction schedules and reviewing accounting reports.</p> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</p> <p>The Restoration Technician will be able to communicate effectively with other CAMP employees, vendors, subcontractors and clients including property-level personnel. Restoration Technicians should have sufficient education, experience in restoration and mitigation, and communication skills to effectively discharge their assigned duties. They must be physically able to lift heavy loads, climb ladders and work on active construction jobsites. Must have completed OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 courses, or complete OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 within 60 days after program enrollment.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Specific duties will vary based on the size, complexity and type of project assigned but will generally be assigned to small - medium scope, short duration jobs or to single-trade jobs. Occasional brief assignments to other jobsites during the course of an assigned project are normal. Typically, a Restoration Technician is responsible for the following key elements of each assigned project:</p> <ul> <li>Inspect worksites. </li><li>Determine material, subcontractor, and labor requirements. </li><li>Coordinate and direct all on-site activities of CAMP employees, sub-contractors, craftsmen, tradesmen, and vendors to ensure that the CAMP's goals and standards are met: </li><li>Ensure that jobs are completed on schedule and on budget. </li><li>Review invoices and timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract terms. </li><li>Ensure timely and effective communication with the Property Manager, Maintenance Supervisor and the PM concerning all aspects of the project. </li></ul> <p>CAMP is EOE and compensation is DOE.</p>
