<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Location: Indianapolis, IN</p> <p>Hybrid position: 2 days WFH and 3 days in-office required. 9045 River Road, Indianapolis, IN 46240</p> <p>Company Overview:</p> <p>Performing over 80 million locates annually, USIC is the most trusted name in underground utility damage prevention. Our mission: to deliver quality, efficient, safe, and innovative solutions to protect our partner's infrastructure and critical assets.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Assists with administrative tasks related to vendor invoicing and litigated claims including file maintenance, responding to requests for information, and other tasks as assigned.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Accurately enter various types of vendor invoices into the Workday accounting system </li><li>Sort incoming invoices and distribute to other AP staff </li><li>Review expense reports for proper coding and forward for approval </li><li>Audit and prepare Travel per Diems </li><li>Inform Field offices of corrections made, or additional information needed </li><li>Field vendor & customer claim calls and emails and resolve problems and issues </li><li>Research payment information when needed and communicate results </li><li>Add new vendors, contact vendors for additional information, and send out new vendor packets </li><li>Assist with the mailing of AP checks where necessary </li><li>Research and request voids and reissues of checks as needed </li><li>Prepare unclaimed property check requests and file with the appropriate state entities </li><li>Maintain AP rent file and enter monthly and annual rents for corporate and district offices and storage facilities </li><li>Special projects as assigned by AP Manager </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School education or equivalent. Associate degree in accounting or a related field preferred </li><li>1-2 years of experience in payables functions using Microsoft Excel </li><li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required </li><li>Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with a macro-level view of the business </li><li>Strong written and communicative skills </li><li>Ability to multitask & react to a fast-paced environment </li><li>Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize </li><li>Accurate, high-volume data entry skills </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills </li><li>Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills </li></ul> <p>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
