This unit caters to patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, neurosurgical procedures, seizures, and other complex neurological conditions. Nurses in the Neuro Step-Down Unit are trained in advanced neurological assessments, monitoring of neuro-specific symptoms, and the use of specialized equipment, such as intracranial pressure monitors and continuous EEG.
