<p>Job Summary</p> <p>This position provides opportunity to work in a growing credit investment fund company, supported both externally facing investment funds, as well as the firm's balance sheet credit facilities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and have the ability to prioritize and complete projects on a timely basis. The candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and proactively to identify and resolve issues. Prior credit experience is preferred, as is familiarity with partnership accounting.</p> <p>Principal Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Closing books of credit funds monthly and/or quarterly in SS&C Geneva as shadow books for the administrator's official books and records.</p> </li><li> <p>Finance reporting such as performance, valuation, exposures, attribution and counterparty exposure (daily, weekly, monthly versions)</p> </li><li> <p>Support position and cash reconciliation in Geneva and Clearwater for balance sheet portfolios</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and review quarterly GAAP financial statements for fund entities and balance sheet portfolios</p> </li><li> <p>Annual audited financial statements and related work:</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with administrators with respect to consolidated financial statements</p> </li><li> <p>Provide all necessary supporting documentation in addition to responding to any outstanding items communicated by the audit team</p> </li><li> <p>Working with Tax department to coordinate quarterly tax estimates, annual tax work, and other ad-hoc tax structuring projects</p> </li><li> <p>Ad hoc administrative tasks: Coordinate with others internally and externally to provide various types of information/documentation such as organizational structure information, asset positions data, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>B.S. degree in Accounting; CPA license (or on path). </li><li>Public accounting/industry experience in the alternative asset management space </li><li>Credit/Fixed Income asset experience </li><li>Knowledge and experience with investment partnership accounting </li><li>Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Detail-oriented, great team player, hard-working, self-motivated, confident, organized and analytical. </li><li>Ability to work with minimal day-to-day supervision and demonstrate a strong work ethic. </li><li>Ability to multi-tasks and prioritize. </li><li>Experience with SS&C Geneva and Recon systems a plus </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>Nassau maintains a holistic compensation philosophy focused on competitive base salaries, performance driven incentives, and unique professional development opportunities.
