Whether you are new to the trades wanting to take advantage of our free trade training programs, or a career professional looking to cultivate your craft or leadership skills, we have a path for you!</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Learning & Development team. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in corporate training, instructional design, or communications. You'll play a key role in enhancing the presentation, delivery, and automation of our internal training programs.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>PowerPoint Branding:</p> <ul> <li>Standardize and enhance the visual branding of training slide decks. </li><li>Apply templates, formatting, and visual consistency to ensure materials reflect our brand guidelines. </li></ul> <p>Content Creation:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the development of engaging online learning modules and materials. </li><li>Work with subject matter experts to translate content into learner-friendly formats (videos, eLearning, job aids, etc.). </li></ul> <p>LMS Automation Support:</p> <ul> <li>Help set up learning paths, workflows, and automations within our Learning Management System (LMS). </li><li>Test functionality and troubleshoot basic issues in the LMS environment. </li><li>Additional Support: </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals of the Learning & Development department, as identified by the Director of L&D. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and familiar with branding or visual design concepts. </li><li>Interest or experience in eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate, Canva, Adobe, or similar platforms) is a plus. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Gain:</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience in corporate training and digital learning development. </li><li>Exposure to real-world branding, instructional design, and LMS configuration projects. </li><li>Mentorship and collaboration with a supportive team. </li><li>A portfolio of work that showcases your contributions. </li></ul>
