That's why we are relentless about hiring top secretaries who can provide high-quality instruction and build authentic, loving relationships with students.</p> <p>Position: Secretary</p> <p>Location: Administration Building State Date: As soon as possible</p> <p>Reports to: Executive Human Resources Director</p> <p>Work Year: 12 months</p> <p>Compensation: Refer to current Secretary Salary Scale</p> <p>POSITION GOAL:</p> <p>This position operates a multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers to appropriate personnel. This position also serves as a greeter and must interact with all visitors entering the building. The responsibility of the position is to ensure immediate and appropriate responses to callers, both those in person and those that call by telephone. The position also provides administrative support for a variety of clerical, secretarial, and other minor administrative functions as needed.</p> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Bilingual, Spanish Strongly Preferred </li><li>Proficient in Microsft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Drive) </li><li>Proficiency in FSF, Preferred </li><li>Knowledge of Zoom </li><li>Acceptable Criminal Background Report; no entries on Child Abuse Registry </li></ul> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose, and forward call to appropriate personnel </li><li>Performs feeder school searches for inquiring individuals </li><li>Create and maintain the database for Criminal Background Checks for district employees and contractors </li><li>Create and maintain the database for Child Protection Registry Search </li><li>Board Letters generation and mailing </li><li>Order supplies for Human Resources Division </li><li>Send, retrieve, and route incoming faxes </li><li>Maintain organized filing systems </li><li>Handle confidential information with discretion </li><li>Assist staff within the Human Resources Division </li><li>Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
