<p>Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, specializes in providing world-class service, repair and re-manufacturing in the areas of electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos and mechanical components for various industries. https://www.paragontech.com/</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Performs service and repair for hydraulic components.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Evaluate, build and test cylinders, pumps and motors. </li><li>Evaluate warranty hydraulic cylinders, pumps and motors. </li><li>Attend advanced training within hydraulic field. </li><li>Reverse engineer hydraulic components. </li><li>Create and document testing procedures. </li><li>Train new and/or junior level hydraulic technicians. </li><li>Provide hydraulic field service to off-site customers on an as needed basis. </li><li>Design test fixtures and test set ups. </li><li>Conduct intercompany training sessions. </li><li>Coordinate workflow for machine shop with Production Manager. </li><li>Coordinate with Production Manager on problem jobs, afterhours ESFs, and capital improvements for the hydraulic department. </li><li>Maintain and ensures acceptable cleanliness levels within hydraulic test area and hydraulic work station. </li><li>Ensures safety rules and safe work practices are followed throughout department. </li><li>Participate in continuous improvement through training and associate development. </li><li>Must be able to correctly size, design and select proper seals and sealing material. </li><li>Able to read precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers. </li><li>Own every basic hand tool and many specialty tools to service hydraulic equipment at an advanced level. </li><li>Must be able to identify component serviceability and level with a high degree of accuracy. </li><li>Able to trouble shoot hydraulic systems and assist customers by phone or email. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer M/F/V/D.
