<p>FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt</p> <p>Job Type: Full-time</p> <p>Reports to: Commercial Manager</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Go Glass is the number one glass provider on the Eastern Shore, and we are looking to hire Commercial Glaziers/Glass installers. We have large commercial projects ongoing throughout the Delmarva Peninsula and are looking for the industry's best. Our pay and benefits are competitive, and our team is excellent!</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma </li><li>Minimum of 2 years construction experience required. </li><li>Storefront metal and curtain wall systems glass experience preferred. </li><li>OSHA &/or Forklift Certifications a plus. </li><li>Valid driver's license/good driving record </li></ul> <p>Essential functions:</p> <ul> <li>Remove and Install Storefront metal, curtain wall systems, and other commercial glass structures. </li><li>Cut, assemble, fit and attach metal-framed and commercial glass structures. </li><li>Fabricate and install moldings for glass installation using aluminum or steel framing. </li><li>Load and arrange glass and mirrors onto trucks. </li><li>Service and troubleshoot glazing panels and systems. </li><li>Prepare for and complete scopes of work, closely following job specifications, code requirements, and safety/quality standards. </li><li>Photograph job site conditions and document daily work activity and completion </li><li>Maintain inventory of tools and equipment in your care and ensure they are in working order at all times. </li><li>Communicate with customers, construction team, and supervisors. </li><li>Travel to various service locations as needed; Operating and maintaining a company vehicle as needed. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Aptitudes</p> <ul> <li>Good oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Problem Solving; be able to diagnose a problem and identify possible solutions. </li><li>Time management; planning ahead and utilizing time efficiently and effectively. </li><li>Multi-tasking; being able to handle multiple jobs in different stages simultaneously. </li><li>Ability to use tools such as tape measures, levels, hand drills, and electric saws and other glass-specific tools as needed.
