You'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability of aviation repair and maintenance through training and preparation.</p> <p>POSITION OVERVIEW/JOB DUTIES:</p> <p>Lead Mechanic (T8):</p> <ul> <li>Highly proficient with in depth knowledge of engine/module and component induction, kitting and assemble, inspection and dismantle </li><li>Expertise with technical documents and manuals and acts as a resource to other mechanics </li><li>Guides and trains other levels of mechanics </li><li>May have contact with customers </li></ul> <p>Induction/Dismantle of Engine/Components 20%</p> <ul> <li>Set up engine/component into work area </li><li>Complete check in process - reviewing documentation </li><li>Identifying the status of the engine/component and determine if any outstanding modification or airworthiness directive need to be incorporated </li><li>De-stack/disassemble engine, modules, components and/or accessories </li><li>Record and take measurements while dismantling, document with pictures as required </li><li>Prepare parts to get cleaned and repaired, clean parts as required </li><li>Balance as required </li></ul> <p>Inspection 15%</p> <ul> <li>Inspects the parts determining if they are able to be repaired or replaced </li><li>Route repairable parts to appropriate area </li><li>Place order for parts required </li></ul> <p>Kit and Assemble Engines/Modules 30%</p> <ul> <li>Ensures all parts required are ready and available for assembly of the engine or component </li><li>Assemble complete engines, modules, components and/or assemblies </li><li>Final release process - checking product for compliance </li></ul> <p>Follow Manuals and Technical Data 10%</p> <ul> <li>Uses maintenance manuals and specifications to determine proper operating conditions </li><li>Reads technical specifications to identify product discrepancies and deficiencies </li><li>Verifying the conformance of parts to manuals and blueprints </li></ul> <p>Lead 25%</p> <ul> <li>Assists leader with production flow and work schedules </li><li>Act as back up to leader </li><li>Provides support and guidance to group and able to troubleshoot issues/problems </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Mechanical and or aviation experience </li><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent </li></ul> <p>Benefits that make life better:</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive Healthcare </li><li>401(k) with 100% company match; up to 5% vested </li><li>Paid Time Off starting on day one </li><li>Bonus opportunities </li><li>Health- & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts </li><li>Short- & Long-Term Disability </li><li>Life & AD&D Insurance </li><li>Learning & Training opportunities </li></ul> <p>Raising the Standard of Excellence since 1911</p> <p>With over a century of proven excellence, StandardAero has become an industry leader in MRO services and customized solutions in the aerospace field.
