Join our team as we help shape the future.</p> <p>The Hartford's Enterprise Data Office Services organization is currently looking for a Consultant Business Intelligence to join the Corporate Data Services team to support the Employee Benefits Line of Business . This role will be focused on providing business Intelligence support for several highly visible, business-critical applications.</p> <p>Job Description/Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develops visualization solutions ( i.e. metrics reporting, business scorecards, dashboards) utilizing BI Tools (i.e. Tableau, MSBI, Business Objects, etc) </li><li>Tests the solutions developed ensuring quality of data and requirements proficiency </li><li>Presents visualization solutions to data teams and data stakeholders </li><li>Analyze large data sets to extract meaningful insights that drive business growth </li><li>Develops and aides in the implementation of end to end BI solutions and the required supporting architecture. </li><li>Aides in the delivery of self-service BI and visual discovery while helping to change from legacy culture. </li><li>Partners with peers to develop standards for achieving maximum performance and efficiency of the DW ecosystem. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience). </li><li>3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI) development and reporting. </li><li>Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau, MSBI, Thought Spot and Business Objects or similar platform </li><li>Strong skills in translating business requirements into visualization solutions. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations. </li><li>Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting and storytelling from data insights, to both technical and non-technical audiences. </li><li>Experience with end-to-end BI solution development, including data modeling and ETL processes. </li><li>Experience working with databases and data warehouses such as SQL Server, MySQL Oracle, or Snowflake </li><li>Strong understanding of data warehousing (DW) architecture and best practices. </li><li>Proven ability to work collaboratively with peers to establish standards and optimize performance. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment. </li></ul> <p>Plus</p> <ul> <li>Understanding of the Agile framework is a plus. </li><li>Knowledge of Insurance products a plus </li><li>Experience leveraging Gen AI tools to accelerate insight generation (Preferred) </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
