<p>Job Title: HVAC Project Manager / Plumbing Project Manager</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our team specializing in plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, ductwork, and sprinkler installations for both residential and commercial clients. Our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction has established us as a trusted name in the mechanical trades. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing HVAC projects, with a strong background in residential and commercial installations. The HVAC Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. </li><li>Oversee the execution of HVAC projects from start to finish. </li><li>Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians and subcontractors. </li><li>Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards. </li><li>Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly. </li><li>Monitor project progress and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. </li><li>Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions. </li><li>Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations. </li><li>Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any issues. </li><li>Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. </li><li>Schedule and conduct team meetings to discuss project updates and resolve any challenges. </li><li>Prepare and submit project documentation, including permits and compliance reports. </li><li>Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HVAC systems. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC project management. </li><li>Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, air-conditioning, and ductwork. </li><li>Proven track record of successfully managing residential and commercial HVAC projects. </li><li>Excellent leadership and team management skills. </li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. </li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Proficiency in project management software and tools. </li><li>Valid HVAC certification and relevant licenses. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with project management for Mechanical/HVAC/Plumbing. </li><li>Ground-up or retrofit experience. </li><li>Experience with budgeting, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, take-offs, and buyouts. </li><li>Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Procore, Timberline, CAD. </li><li>OSHA 30 certification (assistance available if needed). </li><li>PMP Certification. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position operates primarily between the hours of 7 am to 4 pm, with projects located in Hartford, Fairfield, and Litchfield Counties. In this role, you will attend job site meetings, handle materials purchasing, oversee the scope of work, and ensure projects stay under budget and ahead of schedule.
