Today the Company employs nearly 2,100 team members in over 95 locations across the United States.</p> <p>Our purpose is to create a safe and reliable world and our mission is to deliver assurance through precise technical and professional services.</p> <p>Who We Are:</p> <p>Precision Solutions, an ATS company, has been in business since 1968 and provides a suite of calibration and repair services with expertise in weighing technology, force measurement, industrial printers, automatic identification / data capture and labels, tags, ribbons for harsh environments.</p> <p>The Position: Calibration & Service Technician</p> <p>The Calibration Technician will travel to local customers in the regional area of Eastern PA, NJ and DE to provide on-site to calibrate a variety of test and measurement equipment - overnight travel is rare.</p> <p>This role is based out of our lab in Quakertown, PA.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Calibrate, repair, install, and integrate weighing and measurement equipment including but not limited to scales and balances. Devices may range from high precision laboratory equipment to truck scales. </li><li>Enter data into Precision Solutions' service software in an accurate and timely manner. </li><li>Maintain expert knowledge of calibration procedures within ones' areas of responsibility and leverage this knowledge to better-serve our customers. </li><li>Establish, nurture, and maintain positive and productive relationships with all coworkers, customers, and partners. </li><li>Unwaveringly demonstrate best-in-class customer service for our customers across all industries. </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Assist with calibration and repairs of scales and balances in tandem with senior technicians, both at customer facilities and at Precision Solutions' facility. Customer job sites range from clean-room, laboratory environments to outdoor, industrial manufacturing environments. </li><li>Perform installations of equipment sold by Precision Solutions including scales, balances, industrial printers, and associated equipment. </li><li>Shadow senior technicians and the service manager in the field in order to assist and learn device calibration and repair services. </li><li>Learn about and maintain proficiency in the technical aspects of our products and services as well as related regulations, safety procedures, and industry best-practices. </li><li>Repair scales and balances at customer facilities and at Precision Solutions' facility. Repairs require both mechanical and electrical repair skills and specific knowledge of scale and balance technology. </li><li>Sustain prompt correspondence with coworkers and customers via phone and email throughout the work day. </li><li>Maintain strong relationships with all customers through timely and accurate service execution, thorough communication, and a consistently professional demeanor. </li></ul>
