An Accounts Receivable Clerk is an hourly-rated skilled craft position that performs any combination of the duties described more fully, below. An Accounting Clerk in the paving arena typically performs a wide variety of tasks, transferring from one task to another as the workflow dictates.</p> <p>Key Duties</p> <p>This position within the Accounting Department at Hubbard Construction Company will provide A/R support for our Orlando Paving Company division. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will perform billing and collections in a fast-paced environment for three asphalt plants from our headquarters in Winter Park..</p> <ul> <li>Ensure timely efficient billing of invoices weekly to our customers </li><li>Resolve customer billing problems </li><li>Filing of notice to owners, liens and sworn statements of accounts </li><li>Make outbound collection calls/emails for assigned accounts as necessary </li><li>Prepare daily reconciliation and submission of deposit documentation to central accounting team </li><li>Create A/R aging report weekly </li><li>Respond to customer requests for lien releases, invoices, ticket copies, or statements </li><li>Currently a notary or eligible to be enrolled as a notary. </li><li>Processing of credit applications for review by division controller </li><li>Computerized billing software experience required (SAP experience a plus) </li><li>Proficiency with MS 365 to include Outlook, Word and Excel </li><li>Must be well organized and detail oriented </li><li>Hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm M-F </li><li>Other office duties as assigned and requested </li></ul> <p>Qualification Requirements</p> <ul> <li>General. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Key Duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </li><li>Education and Experience. This position typically is not an entry-level job, as it requires demonstrable previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred. Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees. Two (2) year of office related duties and experience. </li><li>Physical Demands. The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the construction arena to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. </li><li>Periodic physical effort, including standing, is required during a regular work shift of at least eight hours per day. Employee must be able to periodically stand for extended periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform Key Duties. </li><li>Ability to lift, on a frequent basis, at least 15 pounds personally and the ability to carry up to 10 pounds personally. </li><li>Work Environment.
