Its innovative bespoke solutions - such as retrofitting heating elements to prevent outdoor beverage dispensers from failing in low temperatures and custom-made circulation heaters to heat fuel in large ship engines.</p> <p>Join us as we continue to provide solutions to our customers and the world!</p> <p>The Role:</p> <p>As the Production Supervisor - Foundry, you will be responsible for overseeing assigned personnel to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products and timely delivery. Your duties include managing departmental safety, environmental compliance, and production processes. You will also be responsible for quality control, equipment protection, and the development of employees in manufacturing techniques such as soldering, brazing, metal fabrication, and assembly.</p> <p>Your Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Quality: </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of Durex quality procedures and manufacturing standards </li><li>Personal inspection of quality products </li><li>Receive verbal quality reports </li><li>Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement </li><li>Ensures Assembly of product is done per Print </li><li>Safety: </li><li>Know and apply safety procedures </li><li>Train personnel </li><li>Inspect work areas and look for unsafe acts </li><li>Reporting, investigating accidents and near misses </li><li>Enforce safety policies </li><li>Production: </li><li>Train personnel </li><li>Maximize production throughput of quality product </li><li>Maintain condition of equipment, mold machines, and molds </li><li>Schedule Adherence and completion </li><li>Follow Durex Standard practices </li><li>Maximize floor time and personal observations of problem areas </li><li>Document standard production processes </li><li>Meet Established Key Performance Measurements (On-Time Delivery) </li><li>Employee Relations: </li><li>Effectively Provide assignments and direction for employees, and treat them with respect, dignity, fairness, and honesty </li><li>Administer both company and local policies and procedures </li><li>Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards </li><li>Promote effective interactive communication with employees between peers, staff and management </li><li>Promote employee engagement, participation, and self-esteem. </li><li>Encourage employee participation </li><li>Resource Control (Workforce, Direct & Indirect Materials): </li><li>Administer established standards, practice, and procedures </li><li>Review employees' operating procedures </li><li>Personal inspection of workforce and material usage </li><li>Receive verbal reports </li><li>Maintenance: </li><li>Develop and maintain a solid preventive maintenance schedule </li><li>Manage all machines and communicate to Maintenance/Manager repairs needed </li><li>Receive verbal reports </li><li>May be assigned additional tasks as needed. </li></ul> <p>Our Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED preferred. </li><li>2-4 years of Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment </li><li>3-4 years of Lead and/or Supervisory experience </li><li>Proven working experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. </li><li>Experience writing routine reports and correspondence. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and peers. </li><li>Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, both now and in the future. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $25.00 - $26.00</p>
