<p>Job Summary and Responsibilities</p> <p>The incumbent is accountable and responsible for decontamination, instrument recognition, set assembly, dispensing carts, sterilization and documentation in all medical center and clinics as required or assigned.</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Completion of Certified Sterile Processing program. and six (6) months experience. </li><li>Certified and Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) </li><li>Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Supervisor (CSPDS) </li><li>Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Tech (CSPDT) </li><li>Cert Sterile Processing Dist Tech (CSPDT-CBSPD) </li><li>Proficient computer skills such as but not limited to basic Microsoft and keyboarding, demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of surgical instruments, assembly, packaging, sterilization, cleaning and decontamination processes and proper safety practice including infection control, body mechanics and hazardous materials. </li><li>Basic knowledge of medical supplies and record keeping. </li></ul> <p>Where You'll Work</p> <p>Nestled in the heart of East Sacramento, Dignity Health Mercy General Hospital is a 313 bed acute care facility that provides a wide range of services with special advocacy for the poor and underserved.
