<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Campus Title: Adjunct, Natural Resources Equipment Operation</p> <p>Budget Title: Adjunct</p> <p>Unit: 08-UUP, view our generous state benefits summary here!</p> <p>Salary Range: $4,500 per 3-credit course</p> <p>Duration: Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 Semesters</p> <p>Brief Description of Duties:</p> <p>SUNY Morrisville seeks candidates for adjunct faculty to teach Spanish for the following area for the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 academic year on both the Morrisville and Norwich campuses.</p> <p>Adjunct pools are open continuously and applicants are contacted/hired year-round for assignments based on college needs. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, on-line, hybrid, weekend, and/or off campus classes.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Teaching assigned classes under the supervision of the area division chairs & dean; </li><li>Helping students fulfill their maximum potential in mastering course content; </li><li>Assessing student learning outcomes; </li><li>Maintaining a thorough and up-to-date knowledge in their regular teaching field; </li><li>Continuing professional development; </li><li>Utilizing current technology in the performance of job duties; </li><li>Maintaining standards of professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the professional position; </li><li>Fulfilling other duties and responsibilities of an adjunct faculty member as outlined in the college faculty handbook. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Have a Master's degree or higher in Spanish or a closely-related area. </li><li>Have an equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of college students, including those with physical or learning disabilities as it relates to differences in learning styles; and successfully foster and support an inclusive educational and employment environment. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience teaching in Spanish at the college level preferred. </li><li>Demonstrate experience teaching with technology. </li><li>As a candidate seeking consideration, you should address in your cover letter how your commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion has been evidenced in your career experience and professional activity, and/or community service (volunteer work, etc.), and/or professional development.
