We have an opening for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to work Full Time.</p> <p>Lakeview's Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant assists in the treatment of patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist in order to restore, maintain, or prevent the decline of patient function. Participates as an active member of the rehabilitation team.</p> <p>Why join us?</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay </li><li>Health, dental, and vision benefits </li><li>Retirement plan with employer match </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Fitness center and pool </li></ul> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Records treatments administered in patients' medical records and in the department's daily billing records, in accordance with established procedures. </li><li>Instructs patients, family, and staff in maintenance programs, as directed by the Occupational Therapist. </li><li>Attends and participates in patient care conferences and rehabilitation departmental meetings. </li><li>Maintains and continually improves professional competency by attending in-service trainings and utilizing other educational materials. </li><li>Protects patients and staff by adhering to infection control procedures at all times. </li><li>Ensures that services are provided at all times in accordance with applicable guidelines, regulations, and standards of practice. </li><li>Develops and maintains a good working rapport with inter-department personnel and other departments within the facility, to ensure that Therapy Services programs can be properly maintained to meet the needs of facility, residents, and patients. </li><li>Ensures that Resident's Rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property, and civil rights, including the right to express grievances are followed. </li><li>Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. </li></ul>
