<p>Overview</p> <p>Celanese is seeking an Associate Technician, Maintenance/Reliability Expert. This role will ensure that all aspects of the maintenance plan are followed, adhering to four core principles:</p> <ul> <li>Preventive maintenance </li><li>Equipment repair within their capabilities, including root cause analysis </li><li>Proactively addressing reliability issues </li><li>Executing maintenance activities as scheduled by the maintenance planner </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Conduct routine rounds and actively monitor equipment to inspect and detect anomalies, identifying emerging issues.</p> <ul> <li>Independently perform maintenance in accordance with industry standards. </li><li>Identify required parts, supplies, and repair items. </li><li>Collaborate with the Planner/Scheduler to optimize preventive maintenance procedures. </li><li>Ensure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards. </li><li>Perform maintenance tasks, make adjustments and repairs, and complete preventive maintenance as scheduled. </li><li>Conduct C-level root cause analyses (RCAs) on equipment reliability failure modes. </li><li>Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with other workgroups as necessary (e.g., Core Maintenance Expert, Reliability SME). </li><li>Apply lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, turn equipment over to maintenance for repairs, and participate in return-to-service activities. </li><li>Deliver accurate and high-quality work notifications. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Maintenance skills </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to perform repairs </li><li>Technical focus or at least 6 months of related experience in the general maintenance industry </li><li>Troubleshooting and RCA skills </li><li>Knowledge of processes and equipment </li><li>Ability to identify anomalies in equipment </li><li>Proficiency in using basic hand tool </li></ul>
