We are looking for a curious and proactive Operations Analyst to partner with leadership in Engineering, Product Management, Analytics, Finance, Program Management, Product & Engineering Operations, and others to develop and manage engineering, financial, and technical processes, execute key operational cadences, and drive successful business outcomes.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Manage and mature multiple key cross-organizational processes including Product Lifecycle, Engineering Ops, software capitalization, and others </li><li>Operationalize emerging processes around FinOps and cloud spend management </li><li>Instill discipline and consistency within the Product and Engineering teams in terms of operational methodologies and documentation, working with Senior Director & VP level resources </li><li>Work closely with cross-functional resources as primary point of contact to improve communications, enhance visibility, and measure results of different strategic portfolios </li><li>Champion tooling and process improvements that help the team and Fastly scale </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>4+ years in business operations or other key functions including business process improvement, and product or engineering teams (bonus points for both) </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead team initiatives by influence </li><li>Experience effectively communicating across multiple levels including distributed teams </li><li>Focus on results and outcome, not just process for process sake </li><li>Strong action bias, preference for execution and incremental improvements </li><li>Ability to document and train a variety of stakeholders on new and revised processes </li><li>A history of putting structure around ambiguity </li></ul> <p>We'll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working with engineering in a Tech organization </li><li>Experience leveraging AI to automate and scale </li><li>Experience presenting to executives and leadership </li><li>Ability to independently plan and execute on multiple strategic initiatives or projects </li><li>Functional knowledge of financial, sales, or other core business metrics; experience with program management methodologies </li></ul> <p>Work Hours: This position will require you to be available during core business hours.</p> <p>Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements:</p> <p>This position is open to the following preferred office locations:</p> <ul> <li>San Francisco, CA </li><li>Denver, CO </li></ul> <p>Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.</p> <p>This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.</p> <p>SF / LA Fair Chance Ordinance Statement</p> <p>Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>The estimated salary range for this position $102,780 is to $137,040.</p> <p>Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.</p> <p>This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly's equity and discretionary bonus programs.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>We care about you.
