SEEPEX progressive cavity pumps, pump systems, and digital solutions are used wherever low to highly viscous, aggressive, or abrasive media must be conveyed at low pulsation rates - we keep everything flowing.</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>The Manufacturing Engineer will work as part of a collaborative team to support our Stator Production Department by implementing and optimizing processes, reducing manufacturing costs, maintaining proper functionality, troubleshooting, and meeting strict quality standards.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Fully support rubber injection molding manufacturing processes. </li><li>Carry out all work in a safe manner and ensure all safety initiatives are incorporated into production processes. </li><li>Utilize SEEPEX global quality standards as the guiding principles for all manufactured products. </li><li>Tooling - design and modify molds or other tooling, create drawings, determine equipment needs, maintain tooling/equipment quality, repair/replacement recommendations </li><li>Process Optimization - implementation, troubleshooting, establishing best practices, scrap reduction, sustainability, material handling </li><li>Project Management - short- and long-term projects including work scopes, research, design, layouts, budgets, ROI, purchase requisitions, trials, and working with suppliers. </li><li>Ownership of assigned non-conformances, conducting studies, and implementing corrective actions. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>5-10 years of progressive experience with emphasis on rubber product manufacturing, injection molding, tooling design, process development, optimization, and/or troubleshooting. </li><li>Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or accredited university in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. </li></ul> <p>Core Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Team Player - Willing to support colleagues and contribute in a positive manner towards group dynamic and shared goals. </li><li>Communication Skills - Both written & verbal. Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels within and outside of the organization. </li><li>Cross-function Collaboration - Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Sales, Leadership, etc. </li><li>Computer literacy - Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
