This role serves as a primary point of contact for guests before, during, and after their stay, ensuring a smooth, personalized experience. In addition to reservations and guest follow-up, the coordinator is responsible for billing, documentation, and basic reporting.</p> <p>Note: This is a part-time position (28 hours per week).</p> <p>What you'll do in this position:</p> <ul> <li>Book and manage all guest reservations using phone, email, and online booking platforms </li><li>Send reservation confirmations, pre-arrival instructions, and follow-up communications to guests </li><li>Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, changes, and cancellations </li><li>Communicate reservation details, schedules, and guest needs with department hosts and service teams </li><li>Coordinate with hosting or food service staff to ensure breakfast service </li><li>Prepare and process guest billing documentation, including room charges and applicable fees </li><li>Maintain organized financial records related to reservations and guest stays </li><li>Assist guests with billing questions and resolve discrepancies as needed </li><li>Compile and maintain basic daily and weekly reports related to occupancy, reservations, and revenue </li><li>Support management with documentation, summaries, and tracking data as requested </li><li>Assist in managing a 4-person student staff </li><li>Uphold hotel service standards, policies, and procedures </li><li>Contribute to a welcoming, professional, and detail-oriented guest experience </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned to support hotel operations </li><li>Assist in Christmas decorating each year </li></ul> <p>What qualifies you for this role:</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>A firm commitment to the mission of BYU </li><li>Minimum of two years of experience in a high-level customer service role within the airline, hotel, hospitality, or recreation management industry </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to quickly learn additional software programs </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree in hospitality or recreation management </li><li>2 years of hotel management experience </li><li>3-5 years of high-level customer service experience </li></ul> <p>What we offer in return:</p> <p>This position comes with fantastic benefits, including:</p> <ul> <li>401k.
