<p>Akkodis is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Newark, NJ (Hybrid). This role leads end-to-end delivery, manages cross-functional teams, and ensures technical alignment across all project stages.</p> <p>Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>Technical Project Manager job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead end-to-end delivery of medium to large data migration and data platform modernization projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive project planning, execution, sprint management, and delivery governance across onshore/offshore teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and manage detailed project plans, migration roadmaps, sprint backlogs, and delivery milestones.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate closely with engineering, infrastructure, and architecture teams to ensure technical alignment and timely delivery.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and design gaps, and define clear mitigation strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure adherence to delivery timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations while enabling informed technical decision-making.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field (master's preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 10+ years of total experience, including prior hands-on development or technical lead experience before moving into project/delivery management.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong technical background in data engineering, data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modernization initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven experience leading large-scale data migrations and data platform buildouts in onshore/offshore delivery models.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
