<p>Description</p> <p>Essential Duties and Tasks</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage various legal department projects and initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the EVP with various administrative tasks, including but not limited to scheduling, making travel arrangements, correspondence, billing and other related topics.</p> </li><li> <p>Understand, comply with, and educate internal clients on all relevant procedures and policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Work cross-functionally to develop training and processes to ensure timely and efficient development, review, and archiving legal materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct legal, regulatory, and other pertinent research as needed by counsel and to complete independent projects and assigned work.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides legal support to counsel in the drafting of legal and business communications.</p> </li><li> <p>Reviews and responds as appropriate to routine communications and requests from internal clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Corporate records maintenance, including developing databases to improve corporate record keeping.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining and filing corporate records, including resolutions, board of director changes, annual reports, and others as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs work with minimal supervision.</p> </li><li> <p>Works with HR Compliance to develop and deliver training.</p> </li><li> <p>Handles complex issues and problems.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications, Education, and Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associates degree or relevant experience required, Bachelors preferred.8-10 years of experience working within a law firm or corporate legal department.</p> </li><li> <p>Possesses comprehensive knowledge of corporate governance requirements and employment law.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with cross-functional teams and demonstrated ability to partner effectively with others to address complex compliance and operational issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.</p> </li><li> <p>Exceptional time management and organization skills.
